JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER) is committed to empowering students from the bottom 20% of the household income group by implementing robust financial aid initiatives. In the academic year 2023-24, Over 11,500 beneficiaries were recorded from various scholarships schemes facilitated through institutional, governmental, and non-governmental funding. Support to Students

Institutional Scholarships

JSS AHER offers a range of need-based scholarships and fee waivers directly funded by the institution.

  • Total Students Benefited: 8,824 students.
  • Key Initiatives:
    • Fee Waivers: Students from economically weaker sections receive tuition fee concessions tailored to their financial needs.
    • Research Fellowships: Aimed at supporting students pursuing advanced research with funding to cover essential expenses.
  • Example: The FEE WAIVER MD PRE & PARA initiative supported 9 students, providing financial relief to those in specialized programs.

Non-Governmental Scholarships

The university collaborates with NGOs and private organizations to extend additional support to underprivileged students.

    • Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC): Funded scholarships to high-achieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
