Each year, JSS AHER organizes inter-school athletic meets, offering local schools in Mysore and Ooty a platform to compete in various sports such as track and field events, football, and basketball. These competitions take place at the university's sports grounds, promoting physical fitness, youth development, and community participation.

The event, themed “Yoga for the Society,” was celebrated with large-scale participation. Students and faculty from JSS Medical College joined thousands at Palace Ground, Mysore.
This marathon symbolizes the 7,000 rare diseases with 7,000 participants running 7 kilometers. Hosted in Mysore, it engaged local communities and medical experts to raise awareness about rare diseases.
Events such as the World No Tobacco Day walkathon educate the public on the dangers of tobacco use. Another rally focused on antibiotic resistance and hygiene practices.
The Walkathon for Antibiotic Resistance, Health & Hygiene is a community event aimed at raising awareness about the growing threat of antibiotic resistance and the importance of maintaining good health and hygiene practices. Participants walk together to highlight the critical need for responsible antibiotic use and the dangers of misuse and overuse. The event promotes education on hygiene practices that can prevent infections and reduce the need for antibiotics. By coming together, the community underscores the importance of collective action in combating antibiotic resistance, protecting public health, and ensuring the effectiveness of antibiotics for future generations.
Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Seema Latkar urged the audience to spread awareness on the judicious use of antibiotics and expressed that the current society lacks tolerance and resilience towards self-healing and organic remedies. She applauded the institution for taking up an important global concern which requires urgent attention and increased awareness.
The event began with a warm-up session by Arnold Fitness team followed by the Chief Guest's address. The walkathon started at Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple, passed through the Exhibition ground and Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji circle, and culminated at the starting point. Participants carried placards with slogans related to the theme.

Bharath Hospital & Institute of Oncology, Mysuru, in association with the NSS Unit of JSS College of Pharmacy, organized a walkathon on the occasion of World Cancer Day at Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple on 4th February 2024.
The main aim of this walkathon was to create awareness about the ill effects of tobacco use within the community under the initiative HOPE-E THON. This awareness program was attended by 40 NSS Volunteers, teaching staff, and the NSS Program Officer.

The Zenith Sports Meet is a State sports event organized by JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore, to celebrate its 50th-year Jubilee. The event was hosted from 14th October 2023 to 15th October 2023 at the JSS Medical College ground and included volleyball and football competitions.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Srikanth Rao, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Karnataka Roller Skating Association, and presided over by Dr. T M Pramod Kumar. Event coordinators included Dr. Suresh, Administrative Officer Mrs. Divyashree, Sports Coordinator Dr. Yogesh, and Dr. Siddarth.
